Pre-launch draft: This notice describes the current technical design. It must be updated if analytics, advertising, support widgets, or additional third-party technologies are added.
1. Essential cookies
Expense Pools uses secure, HTTP-only cookies to maintain a signed-in web session and, when selected, remember a user for a limited period. These cookies are required for authentication and account security.
2. Browser storage
The web app uses local storage for preferences such as language and the most recently selected pool. Session storage may preserve the page a user intended to visit after signing in.
3. Offline storage
The service worker can cache public application files so the interface loads more reliably. Authenticated API responses are network-only and are not placed in the application cache.
4. Analytics and advertising
The current product does not require advertising cookies. If optional analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, this notice and any consent controls will be updated before they are enabled where consent is required.
5. Your controls
You can remove cookies and local storage through browser settings. Removing essential authentication cookies signs you out. Blocking all storage may prevent parts of the service from working correctly.
